Auto Adopt

Auto Adopt allows users who sign in to a device to automatically receive LAN permissions when both conditions are met:

  1. The device has been adopted into the organization.
  2. The local username matches the user's primary alias.

When both conditions are true, the local user is automatically associated with the MicroTunnel user and inherits that user's permissions and access.

You can turn Auto Adopt off for an organization in the main organization dashboard (see below).
